A fleet sent by her Majesty the Queen to hunt down pirates; granted judiciary power in dealing with the menace. The group was formed in 1876 to protect Jacob's Ladder and several bases across the Aether.

The Jacobs Ladder Project

The Jacobs Ladder Project is from inception to design a ladder into the celestial. A vast array of satellites, bases, space-stations refuelling platforms, that provide the stepping stones to the farthest regions of the Solar system. The Ladder is patrolled by Queen Victoria's Armada. Most of the time, travel along the ladder is relatively safe and various corporations make use of the Ladder as a safe zone for resource exploitation within it's network.

Shield Generators

Shield generators are essential technology for both space travel and for easier creation of towns in more remote locations.

A prototype of shield generators can be seen in Lovelace. This one is unique for towns, since it's one of the few shield generators outside the shielded area. In most cases this isn't preffered, because most shields serve a partially milletary goal. The technology behind shielding is a highly evolved version of a tesla coil.
