Hoover vehicle model: Xoel's WIP (Warning, going to be alot of images!)

According to physics and air movement laws, due to the shape of the craft the smoke would move more outward in a V shape where the direction of travel is the same as the direction of the point of the 'V'.

If anyone wants to conduct a physics test to prove me wrong, go ahead, but I'll be directing whoever does particles to move them outward.

Even so, the pilot would be likely to be wearing goggles.

I like the Hoover so far.  My only points would be that it could use lights and that I second Kieve's suggestion to move the exhaust pipes.

I think I said somewhere on IRC that headlights would be hard to add without ruining the aesthetic it has. Though now I am considering swapping a the left or right cannon for a single headlight. Thoughts?

Exhaust pipes will move. When I finish Wellston and re-open this model.

I like that idea, to switch out one of the guns for lights.  It would add to the steampunkness, I think.  Although, one would wonder if it is electric lighting or not...

The basic electric light bulb was invented (in our timeline) at such a point that it could be used here. It's also used on the Armadillo.

Were batteries back then small enough to fit inside that vehicle without over encumbering it?

With the tech advancements on our TA timeline, I would guess so.
