Item Wish List
« on: December 31, 2010, 11:37:42 PM »
This thread is intended to begin listing possible props to use as items of background,  and for players to collect. If you list an item here please provide at least a simple description and/or function of the item for the artist so they have and idea of what you may want it for. This will give them  a good idea on how to design it and the texture.

Please keep in mind this is a wish list that anyone who does the artwork can do in spare time or for those just learning how to make simple objects for the game. There will be no guarantee that it will get done. But it will give the Artist and the writers a resource to draw from.

Closed Umbrella - A fabric umbrella with a caned handle to provide for easier carrying and comfort of the user. The bottom snapped strap can be removed to allow the cloth wired frame to be slide up the length of the shaft opening up to provide cover against the elements.

Here are some more items to add to the list. Feel free to add a more Steampunk than Victorian look to these items. Most of these items will be stuff that was "abandoned in the evacuation" and will be lying around the town for the players to clean up and and eventuality trade with players and NPCs. Since the Junkyard will eventually have many similar items to stuff found in town, feel free to create beat up and weathered version of the stuff here.

pocket watch - A simple brass pocket watch with a white face and delicate looking hands that may or may not be on a chain. A decorative piece for players to collect and eventually trade for other items.

top hat - A nice, black top hat fit for a gentleman. A decorative piece for players to collect and eventually trade for other items or perhaps one day to wear.

Potted plant - A lush green plant that sits in a small pot. A decorative piece for players to collect and potentially eventually to decorate areas with.

Book - A thickish book with a hard cover that lays either on its side or stands up. A decorative piece for players to collect and eventually use for writing in.

walking cane - a long sturdy stick with a rounded metal top use for supporting the weight of the bearer or just for looking stylish. A decorative piece for players to eventually collect, trade or use as a fashion item. Reference pics: pic 1, pic 2, pic 3, pic 4. Note" canes do not have to resemble the ones in the pictures, they are only there to give a sense of the style.

Wall picture: A framed picture of black and white photos or colored paintings. Decorative items for players to collect, trade, or eventually decorate areas with. Reference pics: pic 1, pic 2, pic 3.

Victorian Lady's Purse - A pretty little cloth purse for carrying a few essential items that has embellishments. Decorative  items for player collection, trade and possibly a fashion item. Reference Pics: pic 1, pic 2, pic 3.

Steampunk Goggles: yellow to bronzish metallic colored goggles with little rivets an or extra lens. Decorative item. Reference pics: pic 1, pic 2, pic 3, pic 4. Note: pics are just a guide and do not necessarily reflect the level of detail expected in the model and texture.

Tainted rock: a brownish to greyish colored rock that is speckled with foreign radiological material. An item for players to collect and dispose of as part of clean up operations within the town of Wellston. Please refrain from glowy green rocks as radiation is not visibly apparent from glowy greenness of the material.

Bow - a simple little satin ribbon bow that probably belonged to some little girl. Decorative, etc...

Monocle - a singular, framed lens. decorative, etc...

Steampunk Computer - Informational retention and retrieval device. Decorative, etc... Reference pics: pic 1, pic 2, pic 3, pic 4, pic 5. Note: pics are just for design elements but not for trying to include everything.

Earrings - A lady's delicate jewelry. Decorative item. Reference Pics: pic 1, pic 2, pic 3, pic 4, pic 5
